Serbia's world number one will make history, If he wins in New York, but it remains to be seen who will stop him there.

The U.S. Open has already encountered many famous withdrawals, and the draw is likely because the names that are not included are as compelling as the names that actually appear.

It can be said that Roger Federer a major player in tennis, has confirmed that after suffering a setback during Wimbledon, he will miss the last Grand Slam tournament of the year and eventually lose three sets in straight sets by defeating Hubert Hurkacz.

The 40-year-old player confirmed two weeks before the US Open that he will undergo knee surgery again and stay on the sidelines for "months" before he can consider coming back, which effectively excluding himself from the rest of 2021.

Dominic Thiem soon followed suit, confessed defeat after a wrist injury earlier in the summer, which will keep him away until next year

Rafael Nadal will be absent for the remainder of 2021 due to a foot injury-and Stan Wawrinka has withdrawn, this means that Novak Djokovic world no1 only will participate in this main draw 2021 this year, as he has won the tournament past seven years.

So far, the situation on the female side is much more complete, but it feels dangerous. Naomi Osaka has returned to the WTA competition, but her first press conference was worrying, indicating that she still suffers from mental health problems, which prevented her from participating in the competition and forced her to miss the Wimbledon Tennis Open. World No. 5 Sophia Kenin has not participated in the competition since the end of June. While Serena Williams pursues Margaret Court’s Grand Slam record and Flushing Meadows’ biggest draw so far, since the French Open Only one game has been played since, and she was injured after retiring from that game.
